
Psychiatrist Dr Tanveer Ahmed says there is a growing “gender split” in politics and conservatives are being associated with a “male harshness”.
Dr Ahmed said he thinks the COVID-19 pandemic played a big part in “upping the resentment of a lot of professional women”.
“There’s a male harshness and antipathy that’s starting to be associated with conservatives that we have to learn to soften,” Dr Ahmed told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
