Nationals MP Darren Chester will challenge Barnaby Joyce for the Nationals leadership.
The former veterans affairs minister has told Nine newspapers it’s “time for a change” –and will nominate himself when the party meets in Canberra on Monday.
Deputy Leader David Littleproud, and former leader Michael McCormack have also expressed interest in the top job.
