Scott Morrison’s Assistant Minister Ben Morton says the results of the federal election could “have been different” if the Prime Minister focused on the “politics” instead of the “results”.
“I think it’s fair to say the opposition over the last three years has been focused on tearing down a prime minister who has been focused on the pandemic,” Mr Morton said.
“If Scott Morrison wanted to focus on the politics and actually create a bigger buffer from the constant attacks from the Labor Party, perhaps the results would have been different.
“I know he was focused not on the politics, but on getting results.”
