Outgoing federal Labor MP Joel Fitzgibbon says he thinks candidate Dan Repacholi will have a "solid win" in the Hunter electorate tomorrow.
"I think some people will come back to us tomorrow," Mr Fitzgibbon told Sky News Australia.
"We have an outstanding candidate in Dan Repacholi.
"I wouldn’t have retired if that were not the case.
"I have a lot of confidence in him."
