Public Affairs Consultant Erin Watson says the war between Russia and Ukraine is showing the importance of Australia’s relationship with the US.
Ms Watson said this is a “return in many ways” to a period forgotten about in Australia with the “importance of the United States relationship for us.”
“We are starting to see that shift again back to more of a bipolar world in some ways where we do have this, like it or not, US-led order,” Ms Watson told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.
