Albanese has ‘no real support’ for ‘strong’ border protection policies

Communications Minister Paul Fletcher says only the Coalition can be trusted to maintain "strong, secure borders" – and it has a "consistent" track record on this.
Mr Fletcher said it is clear Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese would be a "weak leader".
"We know that he has no real support for strong border protection policies," he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
"As recently as 2015, he was arguing against those policies at a Labor Party conference."
