Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the budget’s First Home Guarantee scheme is a “game changer” for housing affordability.
Mr Morrison said the scheme allows first home buyers to get a mortgage with a low deposit of between five per cent and twenty percent of the property.
“Through this program, the Home Builder program, the First Home Super Saver account,” he said.
“We have got more than 300,000 Australians into owning their own home.”
