
After 19 days of conflict, a fourth round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia has been paused until tomorrow.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has described the virtual talks as “difficult” – as violence continues.
The United Nations reports at least 636 Ukrainian civilians have died and 1,125 injured since Russia’s invasion began, an increase of 40 deaths on the previous day.
Kyiv has been struck by several Russian missiles, with at least one person killed and six injured with attacks reported at a large housing block, a residential street and an aircraft manufacturing plant.
