Western Australia expecting 5,000 people after border reopens

After two years behind a hard border, Western Australia has officially opened for quarantine-free travel.

There are 5,000 arrivals expected today and 500 hundred have already arrived in the state.

The first arrivals arrived from Dubai in a flight which touched down at 11pm last night.

There are six international and 21 domestic flights scheduled to land today.
