Flight Centre CEO Graham Turner says airline fares will be “quite competitive quite quickly” as international and domestic travel resumes.
It comes amid concerns airlines will return to more expensive flights in an effort to repair the damage done to their businesses during pandemic-related closures.
“If you look at the way airline fares have been over the past 50 years it’s generally been very competitive,” Mr Turner told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“So I don’t think they’ll have much choice … on competitive routes they will have to be competitive.”
