From the White House to Wonder Woman, online tributes are honouring veteran actor Betty White, whose career has spanned eight decades.
The trailblazing actor – best known for her roles in The Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show – passed away in her California home just three weeks shy of her 100th birthday.
"Betty White brought a smile to the lips of generations of Americans,” US President Joe Biden said.
"She’s a cultural icon who will be sorely missed."
TV’s original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, has called Betty White a vanguard who paved the way for women in TV.
