Labor climate activists pushing for ‘even higher’ 2030 target

Sky News host Paul Murray says the Labor Environment Action Network is pushing for the Labor Party to adopt an emissions reduction target for 2030 which is “even higher” than the Morrison government’s target.

“Labor activists are telling us what they want – somewhere between 45 and 50,” he said.

“But Albo only talked about policy and process today, not the target. The target that of course will have the full force of law.”
