Morrison government ‘will win’ the election if it’s about the economy: Murray

Sky News host Paul Murray says the Morrison government “will win” the next election if it is about the economy.

It comes after an Essential Poll in the Guardian found 41 per cent of voters trust the Coalition when it comes to the economy while 33 per cent trust the Labor Party.

“So we saw today that the Prime Minister made it very clear where he wants the election to be fought, on the territory that is the number one priority for Australians and the huge advantage to the Liberal Party – the economy,” he said.

“That’s why the election in part will be next year because the economy will get better.”
