Australians have ‘formed their own views’ of PM after Australia-France submarine fallout

Australians have “formed their own views” of Prime Minister Scott Morrison amid French President Emmanuel Macron accused the prime minister of lying about the submarine deal, according to Shadow Communications Minister Michelle Rowland.

“I should make it clear that Labor has been very vocal in its support of the AUKUS arrangements; clearly we have some questions that taxpayers want to know as well,” Ms Rowland told Sky News Australia.

“But I think Australians have formed their own views on Scott Morrison’s character quite apart from what may or may not have been said as part of these arrangements.”
