Tales of The Open | Steve Elkington | The Open Podcasts

Golf’s greatest stories continue on The Open Podcasts, as this week we look at the career of Steve Elkington, one of the finest Australian players in the last 30 years.

A major champion at the 1995 US PGA, the man affectionately known as ‘Elk’ has often played well in The Open, and has some wonderful stories to tell. From a very helpful harbour master, to a play-off filled two weeks at Muirfield in 2002, Elkington has had a fine career in golf, one that so nearly included a Claret Jug.

With colour commentary and narration from Shane O’Donoghue, enjoy Steve Elkington’s story in this Original Documentary from The Open.
