NSW government to invest $25m in community sport

The NSW government has pledged $25 million towards community sports, with the investments to go towards sports programs which have been impacted by the COVID lockdown.

It will also encourage more children to participate in community teams.

Premier Dominic Perrottet claims no stone has been left unturned in the government’s $3 billion economic recovery plan.

About 100 peak organisations will be offered support for all staff members and the NSW treasurer has also announced further support for up-and-coming athletes.
