Alvaro Quiros | Round 1 Highlights | Mallorca Golf Open 2021

Alvaro Quiros knows what it means to win a tournament in front of home crowds, triumphing at the Spanish Open in 2010, and would love to repeat that feeling this week as the European Tour returns to the island for the first time in ten years.

The 2021 Spanish swing comes to an end this week at the Mallorca Golf Open. The beautiful island will host top-tier golf for the first time in a decade, with Spaniard Nacho Elvira looking to add to his first ever European Tour victory at the 2021 Cazoo Open. Fellow countrymen Jorge Campillo and Pablo Larrazábal will be hoping that home advantage will help them follow up on the recent Spanish success, with Rafa Cabrera-Bello taking the title at The Acciona Open de España earlier this month. Former World Number One, and two-time Major winner Martin Kaymer takes to the field, hoping for his first victory on the European Tour since 2014. With Seve Ballesteros and Miguel Ángel Jiménez being the last two winners at Golf Santa Ponça, home fans will be hoping to continue this trend this weekend.
