Palaszczuk drops hint on Queensland’s border reopening

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has dropped her biggest hint yet on when the state’s borders could reopen after urging residents to get vaccinated before Christmas.

Ms Annastacia noted it takes five weeks for individuals to be fully vaccinated, which could mean the state’s borders could reopen as early as November 27.

“We’ve done all we can to keep you safe – but this next step is up to you,” she tweeted.

“We cannot protect you, if you won’t protect yourself.

“I need you to get vaccinated and I need you to do it now.”
