ACT records 46 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases

ACT Chief Health Officer Dr Kerryn Coleman says the territory recorded 46 new locally acquired cases overnight.

"We have 46 new cases today as we move into the last day of lockdown with a total of 1,359 cases," Dr Coleman told a media conference on Thursday.

She said the territory also recorded one death associated with COVID-19 – a man in his 80s.

"Sadly, as the chief has mentioned, we have lost another life and I would also like to extend my condolences to his family and loved ones."
