Alex Epstein: Net zero by 2050 is a ‘horrific policy’

PM Scott Morrison has the opportunity to "do something really heroic" and "totally reject" net zero by 2050, according to author Alex Epstein.

The Australian federal government is facing increasing pressure to sign up to a net zero emissions by 2050 target ahead of the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.

"It’s a horrific policy," Mr Epstein told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

"This is the chance to be heroic and just reject the whole thing and say let’s totally flip this."
