ACT records 52 new local COVID cases

The Australian Capital Territory has recorded 52 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19, 30 of which are linked to known outbreaks.

At least 29 cases have been infectious in the community.

A number of new exposure sites have emerged – including a childcare centre in Belconnen – and a construction site in the CBD.

There are 13 cases in hospital, including three patients in intensive care, all of whom are on ventilation.
