Net-zero emissions is ‘absolutely achievable’: Environment Minister

Environment Minister Sussan Ley says she thinks net-zero emissions is "the direction we need to take" but "we do have to bring the community with us".

It comes as pressure is ramping up on the Morrison government to make a net-zero by 2050 commitment ahead of the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.

"I think we should achieve net-zero," Ms Ley told Sky News host Paul Murray.

"I think it is absolutely achievable."
