Pfizer first doses brought forward as ACT records 15 new COVID-19 cases

The Australian Capital Territory has recorded 15 new local COVID cases with Chief Minister Andrew Barr confirming 14 of the new cases are linked to existing outbreaks.

It comes as Mr Barr announced more than 19,500 Pfizer first doses were brought forward due to an increase in supply for the vaccine.

“That’s fantastic news, lots and lots of people were able to bring forward their first dose," Mr Barr said.

"There are also still early appointments available, especially for people who are currently scheduled for a vaccine appointment in late October or early November."
