Victorian Health Minister addresses state’s COVID-19 situation

Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley has addressed some of the "headline issues of the day", stating there have been 176 new local COVID-19 cases reported in the state.

Mr Foley said 83 of today’s cases are linked to known outbreaks, while 93 of the cases are under investigation.

He said there are a total of 1,029 active cases in the state.

There are currently 61 people hosptitalised with COVID-19 in the state.
