‘The virus is out in our community’: ACT records 12 new local COVID-19 cases

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says there are 12 new local COVID-19 cases in the territory.

He said six of the new cases are linked to "current exposure sites or identified close contacts".

"The remaining six are under investigation."

Mr Barr also said yesterday saw 2,500 COVID-19 tests undertaken.

"This is just not high enough – the virus is out in our community, so it is critical if you have symptoms to get tested as soon as possible."
