NSW has ‘more first dose vaccinations than some countries’

Sky News host Paul Murray says New South Wales has “more first dose vaccinations than some countries” after its “Herculean effort” to become the first state in Australia to reach the 70 per cent target.

“This is a huge achievement for the NSW government and more importantly a huge vote of confidence from the people of NSW,” he said.

Mr Murray pointed out Sweden has reached 67 per cent first doses, Germany has reached 65 per cent, the United States has reached 62 per cent, and Japan and South Korea are both at 57 per cent.

“Well done to everyone in New South Wales.”
