US drone strike in Kabul may have civilian casualties

The United States has carried out a drone strike on a car full of explosives in Kabul and President Joe Biden warns the risk of another attack is high.

The deadline for troop withdrawal is fast approaching but the White House has yet to confirm if the deadline is midnight Washington time or Kabul time.

The original reports for the car strike were there were no civilian casualties but local reporters claim there is evidence a family was killed in the blast.

There are still risks of attack but Security Chief Jake Sullivan said no Americans would be left behind in Afghanistan and all visa holders and US citizens would be rescued even if it is after the deadline.
