WA makes several border closure changes

Western Australia has eased its border controls with South Australia and Queensland as part of several border changes.

South Australia has been downgraded to ‘very low’ – removing all quarantine requirements for arrivals.

Queensland’s been downgraded to ‘low risk’ – allowing arrivals, as long they undergo testing and two weeks of self-quarantine.

A hard border has been put up with New Zealand which has been classed as a ‘medium risk’ due to the outbreak there.

New South Wales has now moved to the new ‘extreme risk’ setting – ruling out all travel, as announced last week.
