ACT records 30 new cases of COVID-19

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says the territory has recorded 30 new cases of COVID-19.

Mr Barr said 25 of the new infections are "linked to the existing cases".

He said five of the cases "remain under investigation".

"Out of the 30 new cases, 13 were in quarantine during their entire infectious period.

"Of the remaining 17, we believe 11 were infectious in the community and we are still assessing the remaining six as to how long they may have been infectious in the community."
