NSW teachers still unvaccinated due to ‘access and supply’ issues

NSW Teachers Federation President Angelo Gavrielatos says the vaccine rollout should have made the vaccination of teachers a priority "months ago" but still in many parts of the state teachers are unvaccinated due to "access and supply issues".

"Where is the prioritisation for all teachers – where was it months ago," he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

"Where was it months ago such that every teacher would’ve been prioritised and get access to the vaccination rollout.

"Even now we still have issues with access and supply in many parts of the state – we are quickly approaching the end of this term and there are still teachers who haven’t been vaccinated because of access and supply issues.

"I just hope that they act on what we’ve been calling for for so many months – where is the vaccination rollout program?"
