Northwest Sydney suburbs leading the vaccine rollout

It was revealed suburbs in Sydney’s northwest are leading the state in the vaccine rollout after the NSW government released vaccination rates by suburbs.

Schofields is one of the suburbs which has seen a rise in young families moving into new houses.

According to data by NSW Health 80-89 per cent of the eligible population in the area have received their first dose.

The Burdekin Road Medical Centre services the community with a small team of four administering 50-60 Pfizer and AstraZeneca jabs into arms each day through drive-in appointments.

Marsden Park is also one of the suburbs leading the way in the vaccine rollout with over 80 per cent having had their first dose.
