New Zealand records 21 COVID-19 cases

New Zealand recorded a further 21 COVID-19 cases today with 18 reported in Auckland and three in Wellington, the nation’s capital.

NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says further cases are to be expected in the coming days despite the current lockdown as the total number of active cases reaches 51.

NZ Health praised the level of compliance within the community and has encouraged residents to book in a vaccination.
