NT to learn of its fate as Darwin, Katherine set to exit lockdown

Talks are underway in the Northern Territory between health and government officials to decide whether Top End will exit its three-day snap lockdown at midday on Thursday.

Darwin and Katherine were thrown into lockdown as of Monday after an American man in his 30s – who travelled to Darwin from Sydney via Canberra – had travelled to Katherine while infectious.

It comes as the Territory recorded no new locally acquired cases on Wednesday.
