ACT records 16 new COVID-19 cases

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says the current outbreak must be stopped or the territory will “live like Sydney” for the rest of the year.

The ACT recorded a further 16 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total of this outbreak to 83.

“We either stop this virus now, or we live like Sydney for the rest of this year. They are the choices that we face. We must stop this virus now – the lockdown needs to work, the restrictions need to stay as they are for the time being,” Mr Barr said.
