Victoria records 15 new cases of COVID-19

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the state has recorded 15 new cases of COVID-19 with seven in the community while infectious.

Mr Andrews said of the 15 new cases, 11 were linked to existing outbreaks, the source of four is “under investigation” and urged residents to get tested.

“We have said it many times because it’s true, it is arguably the most powerful contribution that you can make in our collective fight against this virus, if you’ve got any symptoms please get tested and do it without delay,” he said.

Mr Andrews said there were 40,737 test results received overnight.
