‘Field of Dreams’ brought back to life 32 years on

The classic 1989 film ‘Field of Dreams’ has been brought to life in Major League Baseball in the United States.

Kevin Costner played an Iowa farmer who built a baseball diamond in his corn fields to attract the ghosts of legends of the sport.

The New York Yankees took on the Chicago White Sox at the same iconic location 32 years later, with lead star of the film Kevin Costner in attendance.

“On the other side of that corn, we filmed a movie that stood the test of time, it’s perfect, there’s probably just one question to answer: is this heaven?” he said.

A temporary stadium filled with 8,000 spectators was built for the occasion.
