Everyone’s favorite police sitcom is coming to an end. From many of the minds behind projects like The Office, Parks and Recreation, The Good Place and Superstore, the beloved show is just as beloved as other shows like Friends, New Girl, Seinfeld, Community, and 30 Rock. It starred others like Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, and Melissa Fumero. Ultimately, Peralta was the one who proved to be the most impressive. While he seemed like a clone at the beginning of the series, he inevitably proved that he was one of the most brilliant tv detectives of all time.

He stands alongside other greats like Sherlock Holmes, Monk, Columbo, Law & Order SVU’s Olivia Benson, Psych’s Shawn Spencer, Velma from Scooby-Doo and The Mentalist. He has solved cases in 48 hours, outsmarted the likes of Sterling K. Brown, outdone Captain Holt and his favorite detective played by JK Simmons and he proved himself to Amy Santiago and her father. Not only that but he managed to conquer Secret Santa, master the art of proposing and solve a crime using the Backstreet Boys.

This is why the show has lasted for so many seasons thanks to the support of famous figures like Hamilton’s Lin Manuel Miranda and Star Wars star Luke Skywalker Mark Hamill. The show might not be in its glory days like the day he met New Girl’s Jessica Day but I do believe some of the greatest moments in the series lie ahead.

So which of this guy’s genius moments were the best? Let’s find out! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share for more from Screen Rant!
