QLD first mass vaccination hub opens

Queensland has opened its first mass vaccination hub, which by the end of the week will be providing 3,000 vaccinations per day.

There is a long wait list, with 230,000 people across the state having registered with Queensland Health to receive the vaccine.

The centre, in Brisbane, is focused on Pfizer in particular with AstraZeneca being left to pharmacies and GPs.

The hub is the first in Queensland and bookings are essential.
