State and territory leaders have ‘ganged up on Canberra’ over vaccine rollout

Sky News host Peter Gleeson says the politicisation of the pandemic has been extraordinary as state and territory leaders have “ganged up on Canberra”.

“I think the politicking during this pandemic has been extraordinary and if you look at the way in which different state premiers and territory leaders, they’ve all ganged up on Canberra,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Canberra have been accused of botching the vaccination rollout and of course there is some validity to that.”

Mr Gleeson said Queensland was opening its first mass vaccination hub in the Brisbane convention centre and was expecting to administer 3,000 Pfizer inoculations a day by the end of the week.

“I think that gives you an indication of how important it is for this country and of course Queensland to get its act together.”
