Australians are ‘dishing out more than ever’ for dogs amid ‘soaring puppy prices’

Lawyer and commentator Caroline Di Russo says Australians are "dishing out more than ever" to buy their favourite dog – with demand "sending puppy prices soaring" across lockdown periods.

"They can be a very good investment," Ms Di Russo told Sky News Australia.

"Mine’s just turned 15 and he’s been a delight and thankfully not too expensive".

"They are a long-term investment, so be prepared".
