SA poised to exit lockdown on Tuesday

South Australia is poised to end its seven-day lockdown tomorrow night if no unknown cases of community transmission are detected in the coming day.

Premier Steven Marshall declared today ‘D-Day’ for the state after it recorded two cases on Sunday, both linked to the Modbury cluster.

The state’s transition committee will meet this morning to determine the state’s path out of lockdown provided no community cases are revealed.

The lockdown is expected to have cost the state up to $200 million – leading industry leaders to pressure the government for increased support.
