NSW Government deserves ‘massive shame’ for ‘failure’ to provide financial support for business

Sky News host Paul Murray says the Berejiklian government deserves "massive shame" for how it has "failed to step up" when it comes to financial support for businesses in lockdown.

His comments come after the NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet called on the federal government to bring back the JobKeeper program.

"The federal government didn’t call a lockdown," Mr Murray said.

"The federal government doesn’t keep people on the Northern Beaches, or the Blue Mountains, or the Central Coast, or Illawarra, or Hornsby, or any of the other local government areas with zero mystery cases at home.

"Yet the federal government apparently now has to pay."
