“Even the ABC types” are tuning out of Hamish Macdonald’s “far-left green agenda” on QandA, which has seen him leave the ABC with “no farewell," according to The Australian’s Sophie Elsworth.
Ms Elsworth says Mr Macdonald “has not done that show a lot of favours at all," with the show “in dire straits since he took over from Tony Jones”.
“We’ve seen the ratings plummet this year, they had the lowest ever ratings in April with just 224,000 viewers across the five metros," she said.
“A lot of people are just tuning out of this nonsense that’s on there every week, with this far-left green agenda, which has obviously gone so much that way that even the ABC types are tuning out.
“It’s very telling when he just walked out the front door, and there was no farewell, nothing.”
